Cardiff estate agent Thomas H Wood has continued its sponsorship of Cardiff Corinthians A.F.C. into its 2022 season with a brand new team kit. The established sales and letting agent, which has offices in Whitchurch and Radyr, has sponsored the home strip for the club which will be worn for matches at their Riverside ground throughout the 22/23 season.

The Corinthians – known locally as the Cardiff Corries – currently play in the South Wales Alliance Football League Premier Division, and are competing in the Welsh Cup, FAW Trophy and John Owen Cup – which the team proudly won this year.

Thomas H Wood began supporting The Corries last season and have committed to continue its support for at least the next two seasons.

Cardiff Corries Secretary, Dave Elliott, said: “Every penny is a lifesaver and we are extremely grateful for Thomas H Wood and all our sponsors for their support.

“It was a major honour to win the Cup this year and we’ve entered this season with 11 new players who are all Welsh League standard. I think we have the strongest team we’ve had in over twenty years and feel very confident about our chances.”

Paul Wood, Thomas H Wood Director, said: “North Cardiff is our home and we are passionate about supporting our community and local clubs. We are immensely proud of the Corries for their Cup win last season and look forward to some more first class football from the side this season.”

Cardiff Corries kickstarted their new season on Saturday 30 July with their first qualifying round in the Welsh Cup, and opened the South Wales Alliance Football League Premier Division beating Cardiff Airport 4-0 in August.
