The South Wales Law Awards is delighted to announce that it is to become the Welsh Law Awards with immediate effect.

Launched in 2019, the South Wales Law Awards has quickly developed into Wales’s leading law awards. As a result of its huge success, the South Wales Law Awards now becomes the Welsh Law Awards.

Welsh Law Awards founder Wesley Skene said, “The South Wales Law Awards is incredibly proud of the success and trust that the Welsh legal community has placed in us. Moving forwards, the Welsh Law Awards will continue champion and represent one of the most important sectors of the economy and parts of society. The place the legal community holds in our lives cannot be understated. It’s an incredible honour to highlight the people and law practices that make Wales what it is.”

The Welsh Law Awards are being held Friday 5th May 2023 at the iconic Hilton Hotel in Cardiff. Sara Edwards, one of television and radio’s most popular presenters is set to return for hosting duties. Nominations for the 2023 Welsh Law Awards will open shortly.

The Welsh Law Awards has a truly outstanding track to live up to. However, plans are in place to make the 2023 Welsh Law Awards, the event of the year!
