The first home buyers of the flagship Prince’s Wharf housing development, in Swansea’s SA1, have been welcomed to their new homes with celebratory bottles of Shiraz and Bordeaux since the house types have all been named after famous grape varieties.

Neath-based Developers, Hale Homes, were joined by JCP Solicitors, who acted for the house-builders throughout the development, in welcoming the first two sets of residents to their new homes – two of the 23 three and four bedroom town houses in the SA1 development.

Jonathan Hale, from Hale Homes, said:

“We are very proud of the Prince’s Wharf development, which adds to the stock of modern, high quality, energy efficient, and affordable homes in the area, and contributes to the ongoing transformation of Swansea’s docklands.

“We hope the new residentsand all of the subsequent new home buyers at Prince’s Wharf enjoy their new home, and we are grateful to the Residential Property team at JCP Solicitors for acting for us in a professional way, and helping the process to be as smooth and efficient as possible.

“This small SA1 site development sits in a perfect location for people who want to enjoy a full and active lifestyle, with access to the beautiful Swansea Bay coast, while being in easy reach of the busy city centre.”

Director and Head of Residential Property at JCP Solicitors, Emma Gilroy, said:

“We are delighted to have been able to offer legal support to Hale Homes for its Prince’s Wharf build. The development of Swansea’s SA1 area has been an exciting one for the city, and it illustrates the continued vibrancy and economic growth of this area.

“Swansea is undergoing real transformation and the upcoming months and years look set to usher in a new era for the area, thanks to the City Deal and the regeneration work that comes with it. This brings with it a real buzz among potential investors and residents alike, and it is pleasing to see a family firm of developers, from South Wales, taking this project on and creating some truly lovely new homes here.”
