It’s official, no one thinks that Jack had to die in Titanic

A survey carried out by The Red Dragon Centre ahead of Titanic’s remastered release in 4K 3D at ODEON has answered the age-old question – Jack could have fit on the door with Rose. At least, 100% of people surveyed The Centre thought so.

Interestingly, despite the tragic and frustrating ending, 80% still classed Titanic as a romantic film and they all want to see it again when it returns to the big screen.

With 30% of respondents having seen the original in The Red Dragon Centre on its release 25 years ago, the same year the Centre opened its doors for the first time, many will be returning to ODEON this week with their loved ones to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Showing James Cameron’s multi-Academy Award winning film from 10 February, ODEON is offering screenings in classic remastered, RealD 3D and IMAX 3D, with its Cardiff Bay location being the only IMAX cinema in South Wales.

Emma Constantinou, marketing manager at The Red Dragon Centre, said: “We’re so excited to see the iconic Titanic back in the Centre 25 years later. It’s wonderful that so many people who watched the film here the first time round are planning to come back to watch it with us again. Valentine’s Day is always a special time at the Centre, and seeing Titanic in IMAX 3D will be the cherry on the cake.”

The Centre’s other brands are also hosting Valentine’s offers, with Cadwaladers’ new Scrumptious Sharing Plate and a romantic set menu at Bella Italia, with Five Guys and the Cardiff Bay Tavern offering a more casual option and Volcano and Spice Route offering all you can eat menus.

The Red Dragon Centre, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022, is Cardiff Bay’s leading entertainment venue houses a multitude of interactive, lifestyle and food and drink venues including ODEON Cinema, the home of Wales’ only IMAX screen, the Hollywood Bowl, Grosvenor Casino, Simply Gym, Bella Italia, Five Guys, Spice Route, Volcano, Cardiff Bay Tavern, Cadwaladers and Zaika.
