With schools having just returned for the start of a new academic year, St Tydfil Shopping Centre is giving them the opportunity to receive £200 to spend at The Works as part of its St Tydfil Cares Community Fund.

Perhaps a school would like to add new books to its library, or increase its art supplies, or maybe a nursery would like to purchase new toys to help young children at the start of their learning. Whatever the reason, St Tydfil Shopping Centre would like to hear about it.

From all the nominations received, the shopping centre will choose three schools or nurseries as finalists, then the local community will be invited to vote for who they would like to receive the vouchers.

Julie Calderbank, Operations Manager at St Tydfil Shopping Centre, commented:

“With schools and nurseries on the receiving end of budget cuts, we fully appreciate it can be difficult for them to update their supplies, so our St Tydfil Cares Community Fund is there to help. We look forward to hearing how The Works vouchers will be used.”

To nominate, schools and nurseries simply need to contact St Tydfil Shopping Centre explaining how the vouchers will be used. Nominations can be made by emailing [email protected] or by sending a letter to St Tydfil Cares Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU.  The closing date for nominations is Sunday 23rd September.

Full Terms & Conditions are available on St Tydfil Shopping Centre’s website.
