An Aldi colleague in North Wales is celebrating a work anniversary after 20 years with the business.

Kirstie Mottram first joined the supermarket as a Store Assistant at the Leek Store in 2003. She has worked in several Stores during her time with the supermarket including Tunstall, Leek and Kidsgrove, before moving to the Rhuddlan store in December 2017 where she now works as a Store Assistant.

From taking part in charity events for Aldi’s dedicated charity Teenage Cancer Trust to supporting fellow colleagues, Kirstie is an integral part of Aldi’s Rhuddlan Store Team.

A well-known face amongst colleagues, Kirstie has seen Aldi continue to grow and invest in the community over the years, with the supermarket recently becoming the fourth largest in the UK.

Commenting on her time at Aldi, Kirstie said: “Aldi has changed so much over the years and going from only seven colleagues in our Store Team to more than 30 now has been amazing to be a part of. Hitting my 20-year anniversary has been so special and I look forward to many more years ahead.”

When asked what the one Aldi product she couldn’t live without was, Kirstie said, “I can’t pick just one because of the fantastic variety we have, but the chocolate and crisps are my favourite for a treat – and not forgetting the Beachfront Rosé!”

Laura Domoné, Regional Managing Director at Aldi UK said: “We are incredibly grateful to all of our colleagues and take great pride in celebrating their achievements.

“Colleagues like Kirstie have played a key part in our growth and success, and I would like to thank her for her contributions.

“Our colleagues allow us to connect with wider communities and continue to provide the high-quality service that customers keep coming back for.”
