The festive spirit is about to come alive at the Morgan Quarter in Cardiff, as the city’s home of independent shopping invites everyone for a season of enchanting free events, shopping, and family fun.

The Morgan Quarter Christmas campaign launches on November 18, celebrating the unique festive charm on offer to people in the heart of the Welsh capital in one of the city’s most iconic locations.

There are plenty of festivities for all the family to enjoy, including a free Santa’s Grotto, where young and old alike can meet Santa Claus himself at our Santa’s Grotto. It’s the perfect opportunity for children to share their Christmas wishes and create lasting memories.

Festive Shopping: The Morgan Quarter is the ideal place to kickstart your Christmas shopping. Discover a wide array of independent stores and boutiques, offering unique and thoughtful gifts for your loved ones.

Dazzling Lights: Be captivated by the enchanting lights that adorn both the Royal and Morgan arcades. The illuminations will make your visit even more magical and create the perfect festive atmosphere.

In addition to the Christmas festivities, the Morgan Quarter is proud to present a unique opportunity for history enthusiasts with the return of the popular Morgan Quarter history tours – ‘Beyond The Arcades: A Tour Through Time’.

The ‘Beyond The Arcades: A Tour Through Time’ history tours, which also launch on November 18, will allow people to embark on a journey through time and explore the rich history of the Royal and Morgan arcades, inviting them to discover the stories, secrets, and heritage that have shaped these iconic landmarks.

Kelsey Tahirkheli, Centre Administrator & Retail Liason at Morgan Quarter, said: “We at the Morgan Quarter are excited to bring an extra touch of magic to Cardiff this festive season, and celebrate the historical significance of the cultural gems we’re lucky to call our own.

“With each event being free, everyone is invited to explore the fascinating past of the Morgan Quarter with our one-of-a-kind tours, while experiencing the vibrant present with our free Santa’s Grotto. These events will mean weeks of unique and enjoyable activities for everyone to enjoy. We can’t wait to see you!”
