Last year, Anne Marie was announced as the headline act for this year’s DEPOT in the Castle festival on Saturday 27th July. Now organisers have revealed the full festival line up, and it promises to be a date to remember.

Announced today is platinum-selling singer-songwriter Tom Walker – best known for his singles ‘Leave A Light On’ and ‘Just You And I’ – who will be making his debut at the iconic outdoor venue.

Anne Marie and Tom Walker will be joined at the castle by DJ, songwriter and producer Jax Jones, andold school Garage favourites Artful Dodger.

Mr Wilson’s Second Liners will shake up the day with their genre-bashing New Orleans-style brass band, and here’s local talent in spades too; Welsh six-piece CVC will bring their unique brand of psych-pop to the line-up, and there will be sets from Cardiff singer-songwriter Cardiff Ben Ellis and local DJ Ian Davies.

This is the seventh year of the homegrown Cardiff festival, which is based in the iconic surroundings of the castle grounds. Previous DEPOT in the Castle headliners over the years have included Bastille, Craig David, Kaiser Chiefs, Tom Grennan, Ella Eyre, Clean Bandit and The Fratellis.

DEPOT in the Castle is organised and run by DEPOT Live, the live-events arm of The DEPOT – one of Cardiff’s most successful live events venues.  For the first time, TK Maxx will join DEPOT LIVE as presenting partner for the series of Cardiff Castle shows across the summer.

Nick Saunders, founder of The DEPOT / DEPOT Live said: “We are so excited to announce our full line up for DEPOT in the Castle 2023. It’s our seventh year of putting on this event and it’s always a real highlight in our annual calendar.”

A TK Maxx spokesperson said: “Everyone knows, there’s no deal like a TK Maxx deal. Our big brands at small prices mean that our customers always get something amazing for less. And that’s just us on a normal day. This summer we’re going even bigger by giving away 5000 festival tickets to our loyalty customers through our reward programme, Treasure. By signing up on TKMaxx.com, savvy TK Maxx superfans will be the first to find out how they can get their hands on tickets to music events up and down the country. Because there’s no summer like a TK Maxx summer.”

Tickets for DEPOT at the Castle are on sale now at: www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/1F005F740EDD7477.
