    TMA Security acquires Glevum Security in landmark transaction

    TMA Security Services, a London-based security service company providing consultancy, training, and guarding services, has acquired Gloucester security service company, Glevum Security Ltd, in a deal advised on by the GS Verde Group.

    Founded in 2019 by Mark Telford, TMA Security was formed to get back to basics of excellent service in security by offering a highly personal service and connecting with its clients’ ethos and culture. The company focusses on developing the skills of everyone at TMA to ensure they are fully equipped to meet all client needs. As one of the leading security services companies in the UK, TMA is recognised for its integrity, service quality and professionalism in providing various services such as consultancy, training, K9 services and guarding services.

    Gloucester-based Glevum Security Ltd provides professional security services for companies across Gloucestershire, from major corporate concerns to small family-run businesses. Committed to their clients across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Bristol and Avon, Glevum Security has consistently delivered effective solutions to keep people and property safe.

    This landmark deal marks the first acquisition for TMA Security Services as it embarks on an exciting phase of growth. The addition of Glevum Security will allow a substantial expansion of the service area and client base, along with the ability to provide additional services and develop a truly comprehensive suite of security services.

    Mark Telford, Managing Director of TMA security, is a former Royal Marine and has over 25 years of experience in the security industry, working for private companies across the globe, as well as in operations for Reuters, HSBC, Sotheby’s, Battersea Power Station and G4. In recent years, TMA Security supplied over 500 professionals for both the late Queen’s funeral and King Charles III’s coronation, working closely with the police and other security parties to ensure incident-free hosting of these important historical events.
