Wales is set to experience a change in the weather from this weekend, with temperatures beginning to fall before cloud and showers arrive next week.
The Met Office is forecasting a maximum temperature of 30°C on Friday, with hot and sunny conditions in southern areas and showers possible in the north.
Low cloud will linger around some coasts, while inland areas will see hazy sunshine. A few heavy and possibly thundery showers could develop during the afternoon, although winds will remain light.
Any showers in the far east are expected to clear during Friday evening, leaving a generally dry night with clear spells. Urban areas will remain warm, while the minimum temperature across Wales is forecast to be 12°C.
Saturday will mark the beginning of slightly cooler conditions, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 26°C.
The day is expected to remain dry and bright for many, with plenty of sunny spells and light winds. There could be an isolated light shower in northern Wales early in the morning.
Sunday and Monday are forecast to remain dry with sunny spells, although temperatures will move closer to the seasonal average while staying on the warm side.
Conditions will then become increasingly cloudy during Tuesday, bringing a chance of showers in some areas.
