Croeso returns to Swansea city centre this month to celebrate all things Welsh.

This vibrant, bilingual festival showcases Welsh culture with food and drink, cookery demonstrations, live music, and evening fringe events. For families, there will also be a children’s trail, street entertainers, arts and crafts, sporting activities, and a dragon parade.

Taking place on February 28 and March 1 from 10am to 4pm, the festivities will span from Oxford Street to St David’s Place.

Headline cooking demonstrations will be led by Great British Bake-Off Winner 2024 and Carmarthenshire-born Georgie Grasso, Jonathan Woolway from The Shed in SA1 Swansea, and Matt Waldron from The Plantagenet in Tenby will also make a return.

Cllr Robert Francis-Davies, Cabinet Member for Investment, Regeneration, Events and Tourism at Swansea Council, said: “Croeso is the perfect event to end the half-term break, kick-start the St David’s Day celebrations, and ignite Welsh culture.

“Families and thousands of others who appreciate music and food will love it, as we bring the festivities to the city and feel the Hywl in Wales.”

Look out for further information, including more cooking demonstrations and live music acts, to be announced soon.

Croeso’s city centre programme is brought to you by Swansea Council in association with Tomato Energy, and is supported by Food and Drink Wales.
