    Police issue update on investigation into Cardiff pub assault

    A 28-year-old man handed himself in to a police station on May 4 and was subsequently arrested in connection with the assault of a 61-year-old man which happened at the Church Inn, Old St Mellons, Cardiff, on Saturday, May 3. He has since been released on police bail.

    The 61-year-old victim of the assault remains in hospital where his condition is described as critical but stable.

    The police investigation into the incident is ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed the incident who has not yet spoken to officers is urged to make contact. Please give reference *2500138469.
