Further feedback sessions have been arranged for January as part of the no-one left behind project.

Duffryn has been chosen as the first area to benefit from a £500,000 fund and it is important that residents have their say before the money is allocated.

It follows the great success of a first event, held earlier this month, to ask residents what they felt was missing in their neighbourhood.

Now three more sessions are being held in Duffryn Community Centre, including one on a Sunday, to try and reach as many people as possible.

Come along for a cuppa and a chat at one of the following sessions:

    Thursday 8 January – 3pm-6pm

    Sunday 11 January – 2pm-6pm

    Tuesday 13 January – 9am-5pm

This is your chance to help make a real difference in your community.

Also during December, whatimpact – the National Social Value Marketplace® – will be running a consultation with voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations (VCSEs).

It has been chosen by the council to deliver the grant element of the scheme.

To make sure the funding criteria meets real need, they are inviting VCSEs to take part in a survey that will help us understand what is needed, what gaps exist and what type of support would create the most meaningful impact.

It is open to VCSEs based in Duffryn and those delivering relevant work either regionally or nationally.

Every organisation that completes the survey by the closing date of 19 December will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 voucher (Marks and Spencer or Amazon).

To take part in the survey visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NZXXLJY
