Wales is set for a wet and unsettled spell of weather with heavy rain and blustery showers forecast over the coming days.
The Met Office said Friday would begin widely cloudy as rain pushes northwards, bringing heavy and prolonged downpours at times. Some brighter skies are expected to develop from the south during the afternoon, but these will be followed by frequent heavy showers.
It will feel mild for the time of year with a maximum temperature of 10C, although conditions could be breezy near northern coastlines.
Overnight, some clearer periods are likely as rain and showers gradually move away to the north. However, cloud is expected to build again after midnight with further blustery showers arriving from the south. Temperatures are set to remain largely frost free with a low of around 7C.
Saturday is predicted to remain unsettled with another band of heavy showers spreading northwards across Wales. Some brighter and drier breaks may develop in western areas during the afternoon, but many places will continue to see outbreaks of rain. Temperatures will again reach around 10C.
Looking ahead to Sunday through to Tuesday, the changeable theme continues. Sunday should bring a mixture of showers and sunny spells, but conditions are expected to deteriorate from the west at the start of the new week with further bands of heavy rain and breezy periods.
