Cosy Club is gearing up for its debut in Swansea this November, taking up residence on the ground floor of the iconic Exchange Buildings in the Maritime Quarter. The opening will become the third Cosy Club in Wales, joining the much‑loved Cardiff Central and Cardiff Bay locations.
The Grade II listed landmark, designed by architect Charles T. Ruthen in 1913, is currently being transformed into a fabulously glamorous venue for all‑day dining, cocktail sipping and late‑night celebrations.
Guests will step into a nostalgic world of timeless elegance, with cinematic‑inspired interiors including bespoke patterned fabrics, mirrors, carpets and wallpapers, statement lighting and sumptuous soft furnishings. Every detail has been designed to create a sense of occasion from the moment you arrive. From disco balls to fish tanks, Cosy Club Swansea will feature a striking bar and restaurant, set to become a favourite for everything from brunch dates and business lunches to cocktail parties and get‑togethers with friends.
Lucy Knowles, Managing Director of Cosy Club, says: “We are so looking forward to introducing Cosy Club to Swansea. We know how important this venue is to the city, and our design team has taken great care to honour that heritage while reimagining the interiors with Cosy Club’s signature sense of glamour. We want to create something truly unique for Swansea.”
For many Swansea locals, the building is remembered not only as Exchange Chambers but as the legendary Pandora’s nightclub, affectionately known as Dirty Dora’s. The basement venue became a South Wales nightlife institution. Welcoming rock fans, students and professionals alike long before Wind Street dominated the scene. Cosy Club Swansea is proud to pick up the mantle, creating a new go‑to destination for the city.
Lucy Knowles continues: “From morning to night, we’ll be serving delicious breakfasts, fabulous brunch, lunch and dinner menus, and some of the best cocktails in the city. We can’t wait to welcome everyone through the doors this autumn and to help make this building the most talked‑about spot in town once again.”
Menus will span breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, featuring elevated modern classics, signature Cosy Club specials, excellent cocktails and a strong selection of gluten‑free and vegan options.
