Gareth Jones has brought Carbon Zero Renewables and UK Leisure Living together under one roof at Caer Delyn Buildings on Glascoed Road in St Asaph.
The new 24,000 sq ft premises are four times the combined size of their previous locations in Mochdre and Colwyn Bay. The site includes new offices, a customer suite and retail outlet, and a showroom for hot tubs, swim spas and infrared saunas.
UK Leisure Living, which has sold more than 3,000 hot tubs in the last decade, has also diversified into swimming pool installation, offering design, installation, landscaping and aftercare. Carbon Zero continues to expand its domestic and commercial renewable energy work, including solar and battery installations.

Jones, who is approaching 18 years in business and is a Director of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), said bringing the firms together had already proved a successful move.
“It’s been a really good move for us, and it comes as there is a real upward trajectory and momentum across both businesses,” he said.
“The last few years have been challenging for many sectors. Geopolitical issues, rising costs and changing consumer confidence have all had an impact, and our industries have certainly not been immune to that.
“But we kept moving forward, diversifying and investing, and now we have two complementary, award-winning companies together in one fantastic location.”
He added: “St Asaph is perfect for us. We are centrally positioned in North Wales but have customers across the UK, there is excellent access and parking, and we have the space to grow and give customers a better experience.”
Carbon Zero has delivered renewable energy projects for organisations including Mostyn Estates, Techniquest in Cardiff, Palins, Salisbury & Co Accountants, and the Waterloo Hotel in Betws-y-Coed, as well as residential customers.
Jones said installations have had a positive financial impact for customers, with results and feedback helping to drive the group forward. Bringing the two entities together also makes commercial sense, with many of their services overlapping.
“The landscape has changed and we’ve changed with it,” he said.
“Customers increasingly want a turnkey solution. With UK Leisure Living we can take somebody from their first conversation about a swimming pool, hot tub, swim spa or sauna right through the whole process, including the landscaping and finishing touches.
“Then we have all that renewable energy experience within Carbon Zero, so there are plenty of opportunities for the two businesses to work together.
“We’ve got a fantastic team here and that’s a huge part of why I’m so positive about where we’re heading.”
Jones has spent almost 18 years in the construction, renewable energy and leisure sectors. He is also founder of the Supercar Sunday events in Llandudno and has maintained links with the construction industry through the FMB.
He has dubbed the next chapter “Project Growth”, with further investment at Glascoed Road and a renewed commercial push planned ahead of 2027.
“We can utilise the space here even better and there are a lot of opportunities,” he said.
“We have plenty of ideas about what comes next, so watch this space.
“It’s an exciting time for both businesses and I can see 2027 being a very good year for us.”
