The family of a woman who passed away following a road traffic collision which occurred in Tonypandy on Sunday (9 December) have paid tribute to her.

Karen Milsom was 65 years-old and from Llwynypia:

“We as a family are devastated by the tragic and sudden loss of Karen. Karen had a big heart, was loved by everyone and would do anything for anyone. A loving wife, sister, sister-in-law, auntie and friend. She will be dearly missed by all.”

She was in collision with a white Nissan NV 200 van at 7.15am on Princess Louise Road, near its junction with Oakfield Terrace.

Officers investigating the incident are continuing their appeal for information.

Anybody who saw what happened who has not yet spoken to South Wales Police should call 101 quoting reference *469936.

Alternatively they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 11.
