Leading price comparison website MoneySuperMarket, has chosen Quotethemarket.com as a partner of choice to provide its customers with taxi insurance comparison.

[aoa id=”1″]Launched in May 2018, Pontypool-based Quotethemarket.com is a part of the pH Innovate group of companies who are an incubator focusing on UK insurtech sector. Quotethemarket.com’s approach is based around bringing innovative ways to compare niche insurance products – from both a price and product perspective. pH Innovate also own Quote Detective, a motor insurance broker and Next Venture, a supplier of innovative technologies to insurance brokers.[/aoa]

Quotethemarket.com’s Managing Director, Nigel Chivers said:

“This is an excellent partnership for us, particularly as we are a very new business. The fact that MoneySuperMarket has chosen to work in partnership with us, enabling us to provide their customers with price comparison for their taxi insurance is testament to the work that’s gone into developing an industry leading product.”

Rose Howarth, Head of Commercial – Niche Insurance Channels at MoneySuperMarket said:

“Our partner of choice has worked hard to understand the market in order to offer our customers the best possible prices, which is a key part of our business. The QTM proposition will enable our customers to buy taxi insurance online, which is a new and convenient proposition in the taxi insurance space. It also provides our customers with plenty of choice to find a product that best suits their needs.”

“QTM is developing comparison journeys for many niche insurance products including taxi fleet, short term car insurance, wedding, driving school and cyber.”

Two people have been employed directly as a result of the MoneySuperMarket partnership and other projects in the pipeline, bringing Quotethemarket.com’s employee number to five.

Nigel added: “We have a lot of experience in the insurance world so we know how to compare products on a like-for-like basis. Taxi insurance is traditionally more expensive than standard motor insurance and someone’s livelihood depends on getting this right, so we take that very seriously.”
