Celebrating Welsh Culture at The Red Dragon Centre

THE Red Dragon Centre is stepping into spring with colourful festivities to mark St David’s Day. Parents are invited to celebrate the Welsh National Day with their little dragons during half term at the entertainment centre.

The festive celebrations will take place on Friday 1 March from 12pm to 4pm.

Families and children can get crafty at the eco-friendly craft station, creating the emotive symbols of Wales – from breath-taking dragons to bright yellow daffodils.

The Red Dragon Centre will also welcome back its baby dragons. The fiery creatures will be let out to play at 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm.

Emma Constantinou, Marketing Manager of the Red Dragon Centre, said: “We’re looking forward to the St David’s Day festivities this half term and are thrilled to have the baby dragons with us for this national event.

“Together with the special St David’s Day offers from the centre’s restaurants and cafes, this will be our most fun-filled celebration of our Welsh patron yet.”

Throughout the day, the entertainment centre will fundraise for the Marie Curie Foundation. Since 2016 The Red Dragon Centre has raised over £2,000 for the charity’s Great Daffodil Appeal.
