Slim Chickens UK is launching ‘Tenders for Tunes’ – a national music exchange where old music can be swapped for a taste of their legendary life changing chicken.

When it comes to good taste, Slim Chickens are about more than just the food. The Slim Chickens experience delivers freshly cooked, delicious chicken tenders in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, accentuated by their carefully curated playlist of the best of the blues, featuring classic hits by B.B King, Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf, to name but a few.

So dedicated to your musical enjoyment, Slim Chickens even have their own Spotify playlist to enjoy on the go.

To prove their dedication to good blues music, on Monday 18th MarchSlim Chickens UK are giving the first 100 customers at each of their three UK restaurants, including Cardiff, free chicken tenders in exchange for your unwanted and forgotten about CDs (they even promise not be music snobs about it!).

    How to get free chicken

The rules are simple – have a rummage around your attic or the back of a cupboard to find three unwanted CDs. Take them along to any Slim Chickens UK, where the team will be waiting to exchange your old music for some fresh chicken, cooked to order.

    • Three CDs = three fresh, 100% British, buttermilk marinated, hand-breaded, cooked to order chicken tenders.

The CDs must be in good condition with their original cases and inserts. The CDs will be donated to charity, in order to be sold on, so that the cycle of music can continue!

Richard Pigott, Head of Operations at Slim Chickens UK says, “Slim Chickens has always been proud to bring together amazing food with great blues music. ‘Tenders for Tunes’ is a chance for us to open our doors to those in need of some southern hospitality, whilst also supporting charity.”

Find Slim Chickens in London (on Moor Street, Soho or James Street, Bloomsbury) and in Cardiff (St David’s Shopping Centre).
