Starting and running a small business comes with many challenges to navigate and overcome, such as finding local experts who are a good fit for your business.

[aoa id=”1″]Most start-ups find themselves asking very similar questions; Do I need a bookkeeper or an accountant?, Who can explain my pension responsibilities?, How can I apply for  business funding?, Is there someone local who can help get my HR procedures in place?, and many more besides. A similar challenge is faced by business owners setting up in a new location. If they don’t have a local support network in place what is the best way for them to find quality business experts that really match their business needs?[/aoa]

A Swansea tech-startup called Business Butler have set out to provide an answer to this challenge by using cutting edge technology to match businesses with fully vetted local professionals, using a number of search criteria. Business Butler already have a website live, an appointment booking app under development and are working on the build of a smart chatbot for business, the first of its kind in the UK. Businesses will be able to use the ‘Ask the Butler’ chatbot to access a huge volume of free business information as well as matching themselves with local business experts.

The founder of Business Butler, Bhupinder Sidhu, and Head of Marketing Jon Curtis, have experience of setting up and running successful enterprises but also understand the difficulties of navigating a new town or finding the right professional for your business. It was their own frustrations that led to the idea for Business Butler and the creation of the business which is operating from offices at the TechHub Swansea. Initially serving just the South Wales during the development phase, there are plans to roll Business Butler out to 150 towns and cities across the UK, with international development also planned.

Business Butler has had a great response from the local business community and has already vetted and recruited 14 local experts to join the Business Butler panel in Swansea. These experts are available to book through the website and app, each offering a free first consultation so clients can get to know them. The impressive spectrum of support offered by these experts comes from decades’ worth of knowledge and experience.

Business Butler Swansea is set to support the rapid transformation of Swansea that will come from the city centre development and new employment zone, by making it easier for small business to set up and grow. Swansea is also home to a growing technology scene and co-working spaces such as the TechHub, creating the perfect environment for Business Butler to operate.

Founder Bhupinder Sidhu commented, “We are really excited to help SMEs across South Wales find experts that are right for them and deliver a smart chatbot that can answer all of their business queries, I have known the frustration of trawling through search engines and directories for a business that might meet my needs, we want to make this easy by using technology to match businesses with their perfect business experts.”
