    Biggest aqua park in Wales set to make a splash at Cardiff Bay this summer

    An adrenaline-pumping inflatable aqua park is coming to Cardiff Bay this summer.

    Launching on Saturday 29 June, Aqua Park Cardiff will measure more than 8000 square metres and feature a staggering 72 obstacles, making it the largest aqua park in Wales.

    Open daily until September, this awesome adventure course will provide an action-packed experience for all, from a fun family day out or sporty alternative to the office party, or simply to bring friends together. Plus, with a wide range of inflatable climbing walls, trampolines, balance bars, rockers, rollers and jumps and slides, there’s sure to be plenty of potential for epic fails and total wipeouts.

    The new attraction will also be creating 30 new jobs and is currently recruiting for 30 people to train to be accredited lifeguards for the 2019 season. Those selected for its summer lifeguarding roles, will not only have a splash-tastic summer to remember they will also receive industry-leading lifeguard training accredited by the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS).

    Simon James, Director of Aqua Park Cardiff says: “We’re really excited to launch Aqua Park Cardiff this summer and create 30 new jobs in Cardiff that will also equip successful candidates with a highly-recognised accredited qualification.

    “We’re set for a season to remember at Aqua Park Cardiff and I can’t wait to share more updates on the park in the coming months. For all those hoping to join us for a bring a super-soaking adventure, I would recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.”

    Created and designed by sports activity management specialists Aqua Park Group Limited, Aqua Park Cardiff has been developed in close consultation with Cardiff City Council.

    Tickets for the park are priced at £20 for a 50-minute session and can be booked on the Aqua Park Cardiff website.

    To become an Aqua Park Cardiff lifeguard, apply on the Aqua Park Group website.

    As an active attraction, visitors to Aqua Park Cardiff need to be ready for the physical challenge and must be aged six and over, 1.2m tall and able to swim 25 metres unaided in a buoyancy vest to take part. Buoyancy vests are provided, and wetsuits are included in the ticket price.
