A North Wales company has sold over 30,000 of its products in less than eight months.

Core Protection Systems, which is based in St Asaph, manufactures respiratory masks for the health and safety industry.

The company’s Corpro product range has been developed by Troy Baker and Phil Scott, who have over 50 years’ experience creating products in the field of respiratory protection.

Troy is also the Managing Director of Design Reality, a globally recognised leader in innovative product design across the industrial, medical and consumer markets.

Core Protection Systems collaborated closely with potential customers to ensure that its full and half face masks and filter systems met all their requirements.

The launch products consist of the FFM 1600 full face mask, the HM 1400 half mask and the F1100 filter range.

The products are ideal for a wide variety of roles including painters and decorators, plasterers, joiners, welders, construction workers, as well as those involved in wood manufacturing and machine tooling.

Troy, Technical Director of Core Protection Systems, said: “We have harnessed our design, filter and manufacturing know-how to develop products that far exceed regulatory standards as well as providing users with the best possible user experience.

“Because we have existing design and manufacturing capability, we are in the unique position of being able to bring to market products that offer not just high quality and specification, but also value for money.

“The safety of the end user is at the centre of everything that we do.

“We physically test and check 100 per cent of our products because we want users to know that we are giving them the best possible products that enable them to perform their jobs and return home safely to their families at the end of each day.”

In six months, Core Protection Systems has sold over 30,000 Corpro masks and filters into the PPE, health and safety and construction industries, and has several largescale deals in the pipeline.

It is also planning to launch further products during the second half of 2019.
