On Friday 22nd November, representatives from national public transport authority Transport for Wales (TfW) and KeolisAmey Wales (KAW), which operates as Transport for Wales Rail Services, will host a delegation of Franco-British Young Leaders in Cardiff.

The ten Franco-British Young Leaders (FBYL) attending will hear from TfW Chairman Scott Waddington about the ambition to create a rail network to make Wales proud and from Keolis representatives, including UK Chairman Sir Derek Jones about the determination of everyone involved to introduce tangible and lasting improvements for passengers using the network.

The delegation will also visit Cardiff’s central station and the Canton train depot to better understand the day-to-day progress and challenges involved in enhancing stations, rolling stock and customer services. The FBYL visit takes places in the same week as Keolis’ international Rail Mass Transit seminar, which was also held in the Welsh capital. Cardiff will also shortly become home to Keolis’ UK headquarters.

Keolis Group, which develops and operates some of the world’s busiest and most advanced transportation networks in 15 countries, is proud to host delegations from around the world that want to find out more about Transport for Wales and KeolisAmey Wales’ far-reaching vision and strategy for transforming shared mobility across the country.
