CGI has officially opened its new Cyber Security Centre in Bridgend, south Wales.

The new centre significantly expands CGI’s current cyber security services delivered from Wales with plans for around 100 highly skilled analysts providing 24/7 cyber services to clients across the UK’s commercial and public sectors.  The state-of-the-art cyber centre will provide services including 24/7 protective monitoring, cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting and incident response & forensics.

Richard Holmes, Vice President of Cyber Security Services at CGI in the UK said: “At CGI we help a broad range of clients manage their cyber security challenges with a business focused approach.  Our new Cyber Security Centre will help our clients be resilient against the increasing threat of cyber-attacks, data breaches and the insider threat. CGI has had a long history as a major employer in South Wales and our latest investment is testament to the highly skilled workforce in the region and our commitment to continue to bring high-skilled jobs to the region.”

For more than 40 years, CGI has helped clients manage complex security challenges with a business focused approach – protecting what is most valuable to them.

The new Cyber Security Centre builds on the success of CGI’s existing Reading based Cyber Security Centre, providing a platform for continued growth in this high-demand area. CGI is continually looking to build and evolve its team of professionals with roles at the Cyber Security Centre in South Wales and across the UK.
