South Wales Police is currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision which occurred around 4am this morning on the A4231 Barry Link Road.
The road is currently closed from McDonalds to the traffic lights at Coldbrook Road East. Coldbrook Road East can still be used.
The road will be closed for several hours so motorists are being asked to please use an alternative route.
Two men aged 35 and 26 have been arrested in connection with the incident.
