    ‘Your Community Day’ returns to St Tydfil Shopping Centre

    St Tydfil Shopping Centre’s popular ‘Your Community Day’ returns on Saturday 16th June when a range of local groups, clubs and charities will be highlighting the number of activities available in Merthyr Tydfil.

    Visitors to the centre will be able to see displays from local dance clubs and watch performances from choirs and young musicians, as well as take part in activities and talk to a number of groups about how to get involved.

    Julie Calderbank, Operations Manager at St Tydfil Shopping Centre, commented:

    “Our Your Community Days really highlight the wide range of activities suitable for all ages that are available in Merthyr. The event creates a big buzz in the shopping centre and we look forward to welcoming everyone along.”

    The Your Community Day takes place at St Tydfil Shopping Centre on Saturday 16th June between 10am and 4pm and is free to attend.

    Groups taking part in the day include Adult Learning Wales, 3rd Royal Welsh, Cerys Driscoll Music School, Pontsticill Community Group, Keep Wales Tidy, Merthyr and The Valleys Mind, Fantasy Feet Dance Academy, Merthyr Mendicants, Royal Airforce Cadets, Dowlais Male Choir, Merthyron Scooter Club, the Trinity Childcare & Family Centre and Tenovus Cancer Care’s Sing With Us Choir.
