    Motorcyclist, 54, dies in Cardiff Bay road collision

    South Wales Police is investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at 6.00pm on Thursday 4th June 2020 on the A4232 Central Link roundabout prior to the Queensgate Roundabout, Cardiff.

    The incident involved a black Aprilia motorcycle ridden by a 54 year-old man from the Grangetown area.

    The motorcyclist was declared deceased at scene and his family is being supported by a specially trained liaison officer.

    Officers wish to thank members of the public who assisted at scene and for their patience during the road closures.

    Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the vehicle involved prior to the collision and they are requested to contact South Wales Police on 101 and quote occurrence number 2000196733.
