The shop, which has been closed since March due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will reopen Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 15:30.

Residents will not be required to book a visit to the shop, but are asked to familiarise themselves with the visitor guidance in place to ensure a safe visit.

Anyone wishing to visit the recycling centre on the same site, however, must still pre-book their slot using our online booking service.

In order to maintain social distancing on site, visitor numbers to the shop will be limited to six at any one time, and a one in, one out system will be in operation for anyone queuing outside of the shop.

Other safety measures in place include:

    • donations being placed in quarantine for 48 hours before being placed on shelves for sale
    • placing hand sanitiser at the entrance to the shop
    • asking customers to pay using card if possible

Donations to the shop are being accepted, but will need to be examined by shop staff first before being accepted.
