The temporary COVID testing centre at The Pavilions, Clydach Vale, CF40 2XX, will be open for drive though and walk-in appointments this weekend (12- 13 September).

    Opening times: 10:00am-4:30pm

If you are unable to book an appointment to be tested (if symptomatic) via the online booking system, for this weekend only, you can just turn up at the centre and will be guided through the testing process by the team of healthcare professionals on site.

Visitors to the test centre in Clydach Vale, either by car or on foot, will be kept at a safe distance from each other through a strict marshalling system – allowing people to head immediately home after their test to self- isolate until their test result is received.

Due to any potential increase in testing demand this weekend, there will be additional enforcement officers on site to ensure that everyone waiting to be tested adheres to social distancing. We urge everyone to be responsible as they wait to be seen.

People who test positive for COVID-19 should continue to self- isolate for 10 days.

You should only be tested test if you CURRENTLY HAVE coronavirus symptoms:

    · New continuous cough

    · High Temperature

    · Loss/change of taste/smell

Please wear a face covering to and from the test centre.

    Book a test here

If you need advice on how to access a Coronavirus test please call 01443 425020 (please be advised this is not a booking line)
