    Located on Tudor Street in Cardiff, Good Game Café opened on 17 May in time to welcome customers for indoor service.

    Taking over the previous site of Talk & Surf, this new venture focuses on high performance gaming, tabletop and board games along with serving great food and drink – and filled with fun gaming decor.

    Good Game Café is stocked with 12 gaming PCs, Nintendo Switch and Playstation4 consoles to keep avid gamers entertained along with older models like mini Nintendo Snes’ for retro gaming fans. There will be board games and all things gaming related to keep any customer entertained, whether you’re a gaming fan or not! For those who currently do not have the opportunity to visit the Good Game Café, new casinos not on Gamstop with thousands of games to choose from will be a great alternative.

    The food is themed around handheld items, from sandwiches to snacks to chocolate bar milkshakes, everything is designed around things you can eat and enjoy while gaming.

    Owners Adam Wood-Gaiger and Hywel Mogford put the idea of Good Game Café into action while on furlough in the Covid-19 pandemic said;

    “This has been a dream of ours for such a long time, and the fact that we’ve made it a reality is so exciting. A lot of work has gone into getting the café ready to open to the public, and it’s great that it’s now ready for having customers inside.

    The previous business Talk & Surf was an integral part of the gaming community in Cardiff and we want to just keep building Good Game Café on this.We plan to host gaming tournaments and live streamed events, but also offer the space for private parties – not only to create a new hub for the gaming community but a place for everyone to enjoy.

    Really looking forward to welcoming you all to Good Game Café!”
