Sadly, despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the 70-year-old woman died at the scene.

The woman’s next of kin have been informed.

The coroner has been made aware.

Sergeant John Prichard of the Roads Crime Unit said: “Our thoughts remain with the woman’s family at this difficult time.

“Our investigations into the incident are ongoing, and I would ask anybody who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of a silver Suzuki Jimny prior to the collision to contact us.”

Anybody who witnessed the incident and hasn’t already contacted police should contact North Wales Police via their website or by calling 101, quoting reference C136762.
