The dates have been confirmed for one of Wales’ most popular food events, with the Abergavenny Food Festival set to return this autumn.

Food lovers can mark their calendars for Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, when the historic market town of Abergavenny will once again transform into a vibrant hub of food, drink and conversation.

Organisers say this year’s event promises a mix of new ideas and familiar faces, bringing together top chefs, local producers and visitors from across the UK. Known for its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the festival has built a reputation as a standout event in the food calendar, blending high-quality produce with a strong sense of community.

As summer fades into autumn, the streets and venues across Abergavenny will host a packed programme celebrating Welsh food and drink, alongside wider culinary talent. Visitors can expect everything from street food and tastings to demonstrations, talks and live cooking sessions.

Tickets are expected to go on sale soon, with organisers encouraging those interested to sign up early for updates to secure their place.

Last year’s festival drew large crowds and showcased the very best of Welsh produce, offering a glimpse of what attendees can expect again in 2026, with even more announcements set to follow in the coming weeks.
