    Admiral announced as headline sponsor for Pride Cymru’s Big Weekend

    Pride Cymru and Admiral have revealed they’ll continue their partnership, which has spanned for nearly 20 years with the Welsh employer returning as headline sponsor of Pride Cymru’s Big Weekend for the second year running. 
    [aoa id=”1″]Over the years, Admiral has become widely respected for its proactive steps towards creating a more inclusive work environment; and was even named the UK’s Best Big Company to Work For at the ‘Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For’ awards earlier this year. [/aoa]
    During Pride Cymru’s Big Weekend, Admiral’s employees will join the charity’s ever-growing Pride parade and support the volunteer-led event throughout the day. The Welsh finance and insurance provider has also become part of the entertainment line-up, as the Admiral Inspire Choir, consisting of 94 employees, will hit the aptly named Admiral main stage.
    Charlotte Bennet, Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Admiral, said: “We’re delighted to continue our sponsorship of Pride Cymru for another year. We know that our staff think it’s important and really enjoy participating in the event.”
    Gian Molinu, Chair at Pride Cymru said: “We’re thrilled to have the Admiral team back on board with us as a headline sponsor. Their continued commitment to being an inclusive employer is inspiring and I hope many other organisations will follow their footsteps in creating an inclusive and diverse workplace, where everyone feels at home, regardless of gender, sexuality, age or race.
    “Admiral’s public commitment to us as a charity and to the wider LGBTQ+ community has been priceless. Their contributions demonstrate that Pride matters, and that diversity should be celebrated within society.”
    Pride Cymru’s Big Weekend will run from Friday 23 August to Sunday 25 August, celebrating its 20th birthday.
