A&R Services were last night crowned winners of the Family Business of the Year 2021 for Wales.

The soft services provider, covering Wales and the South West were announced amongst a line-up of leading family businesses from across the country.

The announcement came following a virtual awards ceremony, hosted by the Family Business United and is the Bridgend-based firms’ first award win of 2021.

It has certainly been a busy few months for A&R Services, after securing a contract with one of Wales’ largest businesses, Welsh Water, alongside additional growth with established businesses like Monmouthshire Building Society and South Wales Argos, the business continues to go from strength-to-strength.

Rayner Davies, MD and Co-founder of A&R Services commented:

”Our staff are, and always will be, our business. We have always felt that what we have here at A&R is extremely special.

We are absolutely over the moon to win Welsh Family Business of the Year and it’s all down to our wonderful, hardworking team’’.

After recently celebrating their eleventh year in business, the team recently welcomed their 320th member of staff to the ever-expanding work family.

The business has some exciting growth plans in place for the rest of 2021 and is well on course to hit its projected turnover of £5 million.
