Attraction promises terror, thrills and laughter leading up to Halloween

A Mid Wales visitor attraction is promising terror, thrills and laughter in a series of events leading up to Halloween next month.

The Silver Mountain Experience at Ponterwyd, near Aberystwyth will unleash Terror Mountain with four live action horror attractions and scary entertainment between October 19 and 31.

[aoa id=”1″]“We’ve got a real treat for ‘victims’ in 2018, as we have created three brand new nightmares for them to face,” said Lucie Walford, attraction manager. “We will bring visitors’ deepest and darkest fears to life in terrifyingly convincing, highly themed experiences. We can’t be called Terror Mountain without backing up the claim.”[/aoa]

New live attractions this year are Retribution, Summoning and Relic, and The Unknown returns, back by popular demand. Terror Mountain is based at the unique setting of a Victorian silver-lead mine.

Relic is a brand-new exhibition at the Ponterwyd Museum of Curiosities, the centrepiece of which is an ancient Relic, which dates back hundreds of years. However, visitors are warned not to touch the artefacts, as “the curator is very protective”.

Summoning plays on the experience of a paranormal investigation and using a Ouija board to evoke a nightmare presence.

Retribution takes visitors into the depths of a great inferno, where they come face to face with nightmarish creatures.

The Unknown invites visitors to join the secretive organisation U.T.U.R (Unknown Threat Response Unit) to investigate a series of mysterious happenings, including strange lights, odd noises, phone interference and missing persons.

The attraction holds the key to a night of thrills, fun and screams. Visit www.terrormountain.co.uk/ for more information.
