Two directors at North Wales’ leading law firm have successfully completed their fundraising climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. Ron Davison, Managing Director of Gamlins Law, and fellow director Dafydd Roberts reached Uhuru Peak – Africa’s highest point – after a gruelling seven-day climb. They were part of a 23-strong group that completed the 5895m (19,340ft) climb. Ron and Dafydd have so far raised over £3,500 for their two chosen charities, Prostate Cancer UK and LawCare, the mental health charity for the legal sector. A keen sportsman has told how he “fell back in love” with rugby league by taking up the wheelchair version of the game – and has gone on to play for Wales. Bridgend-based housing association Valleys to Coast is excited to announce the launch of its Tiny Forests Project, a groundbreaking initiative designed to bring more green spaces to Bridgend. The project will see two Tiny Forests planted in the area—one near Yr Ynys on the Marlas Estate and another at Heol Y Frenhines in Cefn Glas.
