Pupils from Blackwood Comprehensive School have excelled in an annual contest which required them to pit their business skills against other schools in Wales. The fflecsi bus service has been running since June 2021 operated by Stagecoach and Transport for Wales (TFW) on behalf of Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council. This pilot project trialled a new approach to bus services to enable residents to get to work, education, attend appointments, connect with other public transport, socialise and shop from early in the morning until late in the evening.
