Major reconfiguration works will soon be taking place to convert the lower ground floor of Morriston’s historic Tabernacle Chapel into a vibrant community resilience hub. The Tabernacle Morriston Congregation has successfully applied to Swansea Council for £450,000 through the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund. Morriston Tabernacle Chapel, which dates back to 1872, is one of only three Grade 1 listed buildings in Swansea, excluding castles. Monmouthshire County Council has issued an update on the planned resurfacing works on the Wye Bridge in Monmouth.
