Third sector organisations in Neath Port Talbot are being urged not to miss their chance to bid for a share of more than half a million pounds worth of funding. Often referred to as voluntary sector, non-governmental or non-profit organisations, the groups have until Friday 14 October to submit applications for the council’s Third Sector Grant Funding Scheme 2023-24. Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Cabinet has this week (26th September) agreed proposals to extend free car parking in its town centres until January 2023. In addition, when parking charges are reintroduced, the initial hourly cost will be reduced to 40p.  New ticketing machines will also be installed in council owned car parks, making it easier for visitors to pay for parking.
