The Farmers’ Union of Wales has responded to Peter Fox’s draft Food (Wales) Bill, in principle supporting the intentions and objectives of the Bill. Cancer patients in South Wales could soon be diagnosed and treated more quickly, thanks to a new Radiology Navigator role being introduced as a result of research by a University of South Wales graduate. Sharon Donovan, Interim Head of Radiography at Cwm Taf Morgannwg (CTM) University Health Board, studied the MSc in Health and Public Service Management at USW, and graduated in 2021. A consultation is underway on proposals for a new school building for Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn. Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn is a 3-19 school which provides specialist provision for pupils with autism. The proposal is to bring 3 of the 4 current sites in Denbigh together in a purpose built building and to increase the capacity of the school from 116 to 220 as demand for these specialist places increase. South Caernarfon Creameries (SCC) scooped the hat-trick of gold prizes at the prestigious International Cheese and Dairy Awards 2022 where its Mature White Cheddar, Caerphilly and Red Leicester triumphed against tough opposition. A charity based in Crynant has received a £3,000 donation following nominations of support from Amazon employees at the company’s head office in London. The donation was made to Crynant Community Association, a charity supporting the community through a community centre and community forest.
