A public consultation event will take place on 14 January to view options and proposals for a new Active Travel bridge in Plascrug, Aberystwyth, proposed by Ceredigion County Council. Police are appealing for information after damage was caused to grassed areas outside Merthyr College and the nearby Leisure Village. Officers are looking to identify the riders of a red quad bike and a grey dune buggy that were seen driving over the grass in the area. The reckless driving has resulted in the grass being torn up, causing an estimated £2,000 worth of damage to land owned by the local authority.
