RCT Council has announced that Catherine Street Car Park in Pontypridd will temporarily close for four days from June 13 – to install new ticket machines, while also taking the opportunity to clean the facility. Work to replace the ticket machine infrastructure will take place from Monday, June 13, to Thursday, June 16. The installations require the former NCP car park to close on a temporary basis, and it will reopen as normal from Friday, June 17. Some of the most vulnerable households in Wales will receive further help with soaring energy bills, as Social Justice Minister Jane Hutt launched a £4m fuel voucher scheme.
