CONSERVATION campaigners are aiming to ‘Raise the Roof’ and carry out emergency work on a North Wales landmark. A series of storms over past weeks accelerated the need for crucial replacement and repairs to the roof of the Grade II-listed John Summers Clock Tower in Deeside. A new campaign launched today, aims to encourage more people to help with life-changing research and to showcase the ground-breaking studies taking place right across Wales. Over the past 22 months over 47,000 Welsh people have participated in urgent public health studies into COVID-19. Volunteers have helped inform the booster programme; supported the development of four new vaccines; and informed the vaccine roll out programme for 12-15-year-olds to name a few. The City of Swansea Aquatics headed to West Wales Championships 11-13th Feburary in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. Over the weekend Swansea Aquatics swimmers put in a strong and resistant display bringing home 74 Golds, 60 Silvers, 54 Bronzes.
