The final Girls’ Primary Football Festival of the school year wrapped up in style on 20 June with a day full of energy, colour and celebration at the Centre for Sporting Excellence. A man in his 40s from Swansea has been convicted of murder, and a second man convicted of manslaughter, following a South Wales Police investigation into the death of 27-year-old Joshua Norman. 49-year-old Paul Rosser, from Gendros, has been found guilty yesterday (July 7) by a jury following a trial at Swansea Crown Court. 32-year-old Joshua Cullen, from Waun Wen, has been found guilty of manslaughter. Welsh businesses saw a further rise in output during June, according to the latest Cymru Growth Tracker data from NatWest, but growth in activity slowed despite a sharper upturn in new sales. At 50.5 in June, the headline Wales Business Activity Index – a seasonally adjusted index that measures the month-on-month change in the combined output of the region’s manufacturing and service sectors – fell from 51.5 in May, to signal only a slight expansion in output at Welsh private sector firms.
