Multi-award-winning UK technology company de Novo Solutions, has announced the promotion of Helen Crisostomo to VP Business Development, recognising her exceptional leadership, strategic impact, and alignment with de Novo’s ambitious growth plans.

Since joining de Novo from Oracle in September 2024, Helen has played a pivotal role in strengthening and scaling the organisation’s commercial capabilities. She has led the evolution of de Novo’s Business Development function, introducing greater structure, clarity, and consistency across sales and marketing operations, while helping to accelerate sustainable revenue growth.

In her new role as VP Business Development, Helen will lead the execution of the company’s commercial growth strategy. Her remit includes identifying new market opportunities, driving pipeline and revenue performance, developing strategic partnerships and alliances, and overseeing go-to-market initiatives. As a member of the executive team, she will play a key role in aligning sales, marketing, and wider business strategy to support de Novo’s continued expansion.

Commenting on the promotion, Mark Sweeny, Founder and Group Chief Executive of de Novo, said: “Helen has made a real and lasting impact on our business. What I value most is her ability to challenge constructively, move quickly, and support those around her. She’s analytical and thoughtful, with a clear focus on doing what’s right for our customers and our people.  I’m confident she’ll bring the same commitment, leadership, and focus as she joins the executive team and plays a key role in shaping our plans for 2026 and beyond.”

Speaking about her promotion, Helen said: “I’m proud to step into this new role. At such an exciting time for our growth, I look forward to continuing to build strong client partnerships, expand our presence across the UK public sector and beyond, and drive innovation that delivers real value to our clients.  Our team’s creativity and commitment to excellence have been key to our success, and I’m excited to help shape the next chapter of our journey.”

Founded in 2021 and based in Langstone, Newport, de Novo Solutions has experienced rapid growth, earning 8th place in the 2025 Sunday Times 100 Fastest Growing Companies and 13th in Deloitte’s UK Technology Fast 50 and Regional Winner for South West & Wales.
