A woman who died following a road traffic collision which happened on the M4 in the early hours of Saturday morning has been named as Suzanne Regan, 51, from Neath. A student from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) has helped to create a new local shopping website for Carmarthen to enable people to support their local businesses during lockdown. The Carmarthen Online website lists dozens of local businesses along with their websites and contact details, enabling potential customers to quickly locate the goods and services they need. RCT Council is inviting residents to have their say on road safety proposals for Llantrisant, which would help address concerns raised by residents about the volume and speed of traffic travelling through the town. The proposed Safe Routes in Communities scheme, utilising funding from Welsh Government, would introduce a 20mph speed limit in residential areas of Llantrisant and reduce the speed limit on Llantrisant Common to 30mph. South Wales Firefighters volunteer on over 300 shifts including driving ambulances in the fight against Covid-19 Over 200 staff from across South Wales Fire and Rescue Service have volunteered to support their communities and blue light colleagues by offering support including driving ambulances over the past six months of the pandemic.
