The family of a woman who died following a collision at a residential home’s car park have paid tribute to her. Daphne Joan Williams was fatally injured during the incident at Morgana Court on Porthcawl Road, South Cornelly, at approximately 2.35pm on Monday (December 16). An innovative financial services graduate programme has been hailed a success as 98% of its current cohort secure permanent jobs in Wales. Roads have reopened following a collision involving an ambulance and car. South Wales Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision between an ambulance and a car at about 5pm yesterday evening at a junction of Waungron Road and Western Avenue. The road was closed at Western Avenue by Ely Bridge and Waungron Road whilst teams worked to free someone from the car. Roads have since reopened.
