Staff at ASW Property Services, a property services specialist covering Wales, the Midlands and the South West of England, has raised over £1000 for the RNLI in memory of a colleague. Eight members of staff took part in the 34th annual Mumbles RNLI raft race alongside 26 other teams on 11th August. The team participated to honour the memory of their late colleague Glyn Harris, who sadly passed away recently, two weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. A rugby taster session for blind and partially sighted people living in Wales will be held at Cardiff Arms Park on 21 August. The event, which is organised by the Change Foundation and supported by the Cardiff Blues Community Foundation and UNA Exchange, seeks to bring Visually Impaired (VI) rugby to Wales for the first time. RCT Council’s Planning and Development Committee has granted planning permission for the construction of a brand new £10.4m primary school for Hirwaun, which will be delivered by 2022.
