Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the murder of Fahad Mohamed Nur near Cathays Railway Station. The men, aged 24 and 22, from Cardiff, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and a 34-year-old woman from Birmingham has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. The younger male and the woman were arrested at Heathrow Airport early this morning and arrangements are being made to bring them back to Cardiff for questioning. The UK’s first online video map to promote tourism has been launched to help attract more visitors to North Wales. The new map was unveiled at the annual meeting of North Wales Tourism and includes around 40 films from attractions, events and accommodation providers across the region. Jennifer Ladd – a retired Emergency Nurse Practitioner from Cardigan Hospital’s Minor Injury Unit (MIU) – has been awarded the British Empire Medal. The medal was presented by Miss Sara Edwards, Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Dyfed on 30 May 2019. Mrs Ladd was awarded the medal for her dedication to improving patient care and safety in her community. It was also awarded for mentoring students and ensuring the success of the only community nurse-led MIU in the Hywel Dda University Health Board. Mrs Ladd retired in September 2018.
